LAIRE, or Live Action Interactive Roleplaying Explorers, is a live action role playing (LARP) game. We are also a non-profit volunteer organization. Established by a group of like-minded people who enjoy theatrics and fair play, LAIRE has been running events for over 30 years. Our organization is presided over by an Executive Board whose members chair several committees that keep the game running smoothly and ensure a fun and safe environment for its members.

LAIRE is set in the world of Midlantia, a medieval high fantasy world, where magic is real and the forces of Darkness are in constant battle with the forces of Light. Fighting alongside the Humans, are the Elves of the Mistwood forest, the Dwarves of the Black Hills, the mystical Kaletani of Nasharapura, and more. Adventurers from many walks of life come together in Avalon city, braving the dangers and reaping the rewards of a heroic career. Avalonian heroes can accomplish many things – be it joining the army and climbing to the honorable rank of knighthood, seeking a noble title, searching for the rich rewards of mercenary work, or joining a guild to learn a mysterious craft like alchemy.
