The heroes made their way into the Highlands after a long journey and were welcomed as honored guests. The druids of the land explained that it was time that there would be a new King for the Highlands and that the Highland Games would be held in honor of such an occasion. The Stone of Fal would then make a decision as it alone has the power to determine who will rule the Highlands. 

As the gathering progressed, the heroes dealt with Bane Knights, Ogres, a few Hellions and not to mention the Fae. Lord Enolio’s Summer Bride, Marigold, was also present for the festivities and caused quite a stir amongst the host with her history. All in all the games were entertaining to have and to watch. Patrick Cunningham was the winner of the games and magically received the “Staff of the Ancestors”. 

During the festivities, Druid Willow had gone on a small adventure and had come back with a crown with antlers and greens that matched the staff. It was discovered that these items needed to be given to whom it is believed to be the new King of the Highlands. 

Tension mounted between three candidates, one of whom was the Summer Bride as a band of Furbolg walked in to give warnings of fire and destruction that had been foreseen by their Blood Readers. 

The High Druid of the Highlanders spoke with her people and ultimately they came to the decision to give the items to Patrick. 

He took them, the staff in hand and the crown upon his head he sat upon the Stone of Fal. Everyone held their breath in anticipation. 

Cheers broke out when Patrick wasn’t immediately obliterated. The new King of the Highlands has been found!

The Heroes had their final drinks and goodbyes as they finally set off to those rolling fields of green and walls of stone.
