Body Point Stat, and Stacking Effects

The result of combining effects that multiply by a character’s body point stat is unclear. The following is an official clarification.

“Body Point stat” refers to the Body Points printed on the character’s card as calculated from the character’s race, learned skills, boons, and any permanent Body Point loss/gain.

Effects that say “Double a character’s Body Point stat” , or “increase their Body Point stat by X%” only multiply against the Body Point stat printed on the character card. If a character is under multiple of these effects the player should calculate the bonus Body gained from each effect separately then add them all together.

For example, Finn the highlander has a 100 Body Point stat. Earlier in the event he is granted a Ritual of Health which would double his Body Point stat for the event, giving him 100 additional Body Points. He later uses his Rage skill, which would also double his Body Point Stat, but Finn would only get the same additional Body Point amount as if he did not also have the Ritual of Health. The additional 100 Body Points leaves him at 300 Body Points total.

Put mathematically:

Ritual of Health = Body Point stat + (Body Point stat x 100%)

Battle Blessing = Body Point stat + (Body Point stat x 25%)

Rage = Body Point stat + (Body Point stat x 100%)

Ritual of Health and Battle Blessing = Body Point stat + (Body Point stat x 100%) + (Body Point stat x 25%)

Ritual of Health and Rage = Body Point stat + (Body Point stat x 100%) + (Body Point stat x 100%)
