Description:

This skill gives the character the ability to call damage with Polearm weapons. If a character does not have the appropriate weapon skill, then not only can they not call damage, but if the weapon they are holding is struck, they take that damage anyway.

Weapon skills are NOT hand specific the way proficiencies are. And a character can use the weapon in either hand with no penalty.

Polearms can be used to only block with one hand.

The base damage for a Polearm is 4 with both hands and the main weapon tip, and 2 with both hands and the butt of the weapon.
